<p>I call bullshit. Or at least, badly misunderstood neuroscience. Slow
reading involves the parts of the brain used in speech - plausible. Slow
reading involves sending the words to the larynx to go through the
muscle motions, which then somehow get back to the brain - bull.</p>
<p> Of course, the best way to improve your reading speed is to read stuff
that actually makes sense (ie not philosophy) :P</p>

at least when reading fast. I can’t feel anything going on in my larynx
when reading slowly, but that probably doesn’t mean much.</p>
